Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and requested him to relocate the waste dumping yard away from the Hindu crematorium at Macha Bolarum. He submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister explaining that despite repeated requests to the district administration and municipal officials, and notwithstanding directives issued by the High Court and the National Human Rights Commission, proper resolution to the issue has remained elusive. He said a vacant plot belonging to the army located near Dairy Farm Road has been identified for shifting, and requested the Chief Minister to coordinate with the Central Government to secure the transfer of this land for waste dumping purposes, providing relief to the residents of approximately 50 colonies.
