A three-day mega exposition of realty, interiors and construction material, Recon Expo 2026, being projected as North Karnataka’s largest exposition, is being held in Hubballi from Friday.

Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Wednesday, Chairman of Hubballi-Dharwad Chapter of CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India) Sanjay P. Kothari, president Gururaj Annigeri, secretary Satish Munavalli and convenor Md. Ismail Samshi spoke about the mega event being held on such a large scale for the first time here off the Airport Road (Opposite Deshpande Start-ups).

Mr. Annigeri said that in all, there will be 150 stalls at the exposition of which 50% will be for builders and real estate developers, while the remaining half will be for construction material.

He said that Recon-20267 will showcase the rapidly growing Hubballi-Dharwad Growth Corridor, highlighting advancements in real estate, interior design and construction material.

The objective is to take a significant step towards establishing Hubballi-Dharwad as an investment destination beyond Bengaluru, he said.

He said that sandalwood star Rachita Ram will participate in the inaugural ceremony to be held at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Labour Minister Santosh Lad, Chairman of Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti, BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai and a host of legislators will participate in the inaugural ceremony, he said.

Mentor and event convenor Mohammed Ismail Samsi said that the mega expo will be spread across one lakh sq ft and along with participants from across North Karnataka, exhibitors from Bengaluru and other places will participate.

Secretary Satish Munavalli said that for the first time, Dubai-based property consultants and builders will also be participating in the event.

Chairman Sanjay Kothari said that visitors will have an opportunity to explore investment options under one roof along with innovative construction material and modern interior design concepts.

To a query, Mr. Gururaj Annigeri said that CREDAI members are facing problems with regard to confusion over permission from water supply department and also, e-Swathu documents. These have been raised with the authorities concerned for an early resolution.

Shuttle services

On all the three days of the exposition, free shuttle services to the event venue will be available from BRTS and NWKRTC central bus stations.
