Indian Railways has announced the revision of the composition (number of coaches) of the Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada (12718/12717) Ratnachal superfast express with LHB ( Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches to provide a comfortable journey to passengers.

Train no. 12718 Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam Ratnachal Superfast Express will run with revised composition with effect from February 24.

In the return direction, train no: 12717 Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada Ratnachal Superfast Express will run with revised composition with effect from February 24.

Revised composition: These pair of trains will have 22 LHB coaches comprising, Chair Car – 12, AC Chair Car – 3, General Coaches – 4, Second Class cum Luggage (Divyangjan) coach – 1, Pantry Car – 1 and Power Car – 1.

Temporary augmentation of ECoR trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Holi festival season, East Coast Railway has decided to augment the following trains with additional coaches as detailed below:

Train no: 20809 Sambalpur-Nanded Super-Fast Express will be augmented with two 3rd AC and one Sleeper Class coaches from March 1 to 23 (on nominated days) and in the return direction, train no: 20810 Nanded- Sambalpur Super-Fast Express will be augmented with two 3rd AC and one Sleeper Class coaches from March 2 to 24 (on nominated days), according to K. Pavan Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair.

Train no: 08311 Sambalpur-Erode Special Express will be augmented with two 3rd AC and one Sleeper Class coaches from March 4 to 25 (on nominated days) and in the return direction, train no: 08312 Erode- Sambalpur Special Express will be augmented with two 3rd AC and one Sleeper Class coaches from March 6 to 27 (on nominated days).
