A joint statement issued by the Middle Way Tibetan Youth Congress, the Regional Tibetan Women’s Association, Bylakuppe, Hunsur and Kollegal, besides the Mysuru Tibetan Student’s Union stated that the rally marked the ‘67th anniversary of the illegal invasion and ongoing occupation of Tibet’. Tibetans and supporters across the globe continue to commemorate the ‘National Uprising Day’, according to the statement.
