MANJUNATH Rain, accompanied with lightning and thunder, lashed several parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, including Mangauru and Udupi cities, on Saturday evening, bringing some respite to people from the summer heat. India Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain/thunder showers likely to occur at one or two places over Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts for the next three days till March 31.
