Quiz contest for school students on January 9

The London-headquartered International Quizzing Association (IQA) will conduct the Asia Chapter District Quizzing Championship for Kozhikode at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chevayur, on January 9. The competition is held among the 14 districts of Kerala, and the district-level winners will be qualified for the State championship.

The southern regional competitions will be held on January 13, 14, 15, and 16 in the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Alappuzha. Competitions for Idukki, Kottayam and Ernakulam districts will be held on January 19, 20 and 21, while competitions for Malappuram, Palakkad and Thrissur districts will be held on January 23, 24 and 28, a press release said.

Students from Class 4 to Plus Two who are registered as ‘Quiz Players’ on the iqa.asia portal are eligible to compete in teams of two. The competition is structured into two brackets: the Sub-Junior category for Classes 4 to 7, and the Junior category for Classes 8 to 12.
