Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies-Etcherla campus Director K.V.G.D. Balaji on Friday said that the Andhra Pradesh government’s initiative on Quantum Computing will ensure more job opportunities for youth in the State. He asked the youth to attend the mass quantum skilling course, launched as part of the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning on the initiative of the AP State Council of Higher Education and other academic institutions. He attended as chief guest the Pragyan Tech fest organised at Avanthi’s St.Theressa Institute of Engineering and Technology at Garividi in the district.

Amaravati Quantum Valley could generate nearly one lakh jobs by the year 2030. Naval Science and Technological Laboratory scientist B. Suresh Kumar, and Infosys Group Manager K. Kishore Kumar said that the software industry would continue to provide new job opportunities in spite of the ups and downs in the sector. Avanthi Group’s General Secretary Muttamsetti Lakshmi Priyanka said that students coming from rural areas can also reach top position when they enhance their skills and do certificate courses with the optimum utilisation of time while doing engineering and other courses.
