Puducherry Assembly election 2026: Observers to also adjudicate poll-related grievances at Jipmer facility

The Elections Department has set up an additional facilitation centre at Jipmer guest house for the following general, police and expenditure observers appointed by the Election Commission of India to handle poll-related grievances and complaints from the public.

The general observers appointed for Puducherry district who will be at Jipmer Guest House-2 are as follows:

Ranjan Kumar (Mobile number: 8925805223) for Thattanchavady and Kamaraj Nagar (12 p.m.-2 p.m.); Amrit Singh (8925805225) for Mannadipet and Thirubuvani (SC) (12 p.m. to 2 p.m.); Mrunal Kanti Das (8925805228) for Ariankuppam and Manavely (10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.); Ajay Aswal (8925805231) for Oussudu (SC) and Mangalam (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.); Rahul Deo (8925805234) for Nettapakkam (SC) (3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.).

The Police Observer for Puducherry District Ashutosh Pratap Singh (Mobile number: 8925805235) will review complaints from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Mannadipet, Thirubhuvanai(SC), Oussudu (SC), Mangalam, Villianur, Ozhukarai, Kadirkamam, Indira Nagar, Thattanchavady, Kamaraj Nagar, Lawspet, Kalapet, Muthialpet, Raj Bhavan, Uppalam, Orleanpet, Nellithope, Mudaliarpet, Ariankuppam, Manavely, Embalam(SC), Nettapakkam (SC) and Bahour constituencies.

The Expenditure Observer Sudha Yadav (8925805245) will be available from 3 p.m. for Oussudu(SC) and Mangalam.

Grievances/complaints, if any, may be passed on to the General Observers and Police Observers of Assembly constituencies concerned through e-mail: observerofficepdy2026@gmail.com or over their mobile number. Further, they may also be contacted in person during the time notified at the respective meeting places, a press note said.
