Hyderabad Congress leaders led by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) General Secretary Chanagani Dayakar protested at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday seeking former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s presence during the Assembly sessions and participation in the detailed discussion on Krishna river water sharing and irrigation projects in Telangana. A poster with KCR’s image and demands that he give his version on issues raised by the government over water projects’ design, and change of location, among others, was part of the protest. Mr. Dayanand accused KCR of showing greater interest in the Kaleshwaram project while neglecting Palamuru-Rangareddy, and was avoiding the Assembly to escape accountability.
