Premier Energies has commissioned its 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur, Telangana. Trial production has commenced at the facility, which is spread across 75 acres, the company said on Monday. It is expected to create around 2,000 jobs, boosting local economy and strengthening India’s clean energy manufacturing ecosystem. With the latest addition, Premier Energies’ total solar module capacity has touched 11.1 GW, positioning the company as one of India’s largest solar manufacturers and enhancing its ability to serve domestic and global markets.
