The International Project Management Association (IPMA) will organise the Global project profession forum conference in Mahabalipuram from February 13 to 14. A. Sivathanu Pillai, president of Project Management Association India, and former CEO and MD of BrahMos Aerospace, said the theme of the international conference of IPMA this year is ‘Co-creating a global transformation through project management: Embracing AI, innovation and sustainability’ at a press conference held in the city on Thursday. Mladen Vukomanovic, president of IPMA, said the 60-year association has made its presence in more than 70 countries by training and certifying project managers and organisations. Reinhard Wagner, former president of IPMA, said the highlight would be handing over the prestigious Delta certificate to Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC). Vladimir Obradovic, Vice president of IPMA, also spoke.
