Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted by officials, including the District Collector, when he landed in Thanjavur on Sunday en route to Madurai from Puducherry. After arriving in Chennai on Saturday, the Prime Minister flew by helicopter to Puducherry on Sunday to attend a government event.
