The accused, it is said, arrived in a car without a number plate and initially sought to refuel their vehicle. However, they then forcibly entered the premises, allegedly attacked the staff, and snatched cash before fleeing the scene. The assailants, believed to be around five in number, were reportedly armed with machetes and daggers, creating panic among employees. Two staff members sustained minor injuries in the attack and were provided medical treatment. The incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed at the petrol bunk, and the footage is being examined by the police as part of the investigation. A complaint has been lodged with the Bilikere Police Station, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
