Ram Charan in ‘Peddi’ | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Actor Ram Charan, who turned 41, will soon be seen in director Buchi Babu Sana’s Telugu rural action entertainer Peddi, in which he plays the titular character. An earlier first look glimpse of the film had featured the actor playing cricket in a rustic avatar and this time, features him as Peddi pehelwan, stepping into an akhada and declaring that his sport is his pride. The glimpse also features him with a mace, in a Hanuman-inspired pose. Ram Charan took to social media and shared the video glimpse, and stated, “Happy Sri Rama Navami.” The rustic entertainer is an AR Rahman musical and stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with cinematographer Rathnavelu and production designer Avinash Kolla on board. Peddi, presented by director Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers, is scheduled to release on April 30.
