Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan visited Kondagattu Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple in Jagtial district of Telangana on Saturday and laid the foundation stone for construction of a Deeksha Viramana Mandapam (renunciation hall) and a 96-room choultry (pilgrim rest house) with an estimated cost of ₹35.19 crore provided by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

Mr. Pawan Kalyan offered new sacred robes (vastrams) to the deity, fulfilled his vows, and offered special prayers.

He was accorded temple honours by chief priest Kapindra Swamy. Endowments Commissioner S. Harish and Executive Officer T. Srikanth Rao presented him a portrait of the deity.

TTD Board Chairman B.R. Naidu, Telangana Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, MLA Medipally Satyam, TTD Board member B. Anand Sai and Jana Sena Party general secretary Ram Talluri were among those present.
