Seeking patta for the burial and cremation ground, a group of Scheduled Caste people submitted petition at the Collectorate on Friday. The petitioners from Sadaiyappapuram in the district said the 500 Scheduled Caste families of Sadaiyappapuram were using a two- acre land near their hamlet as the burial and cremation ground for over 100 years.
