The image is used for representative purposes only. | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT A passenger was injured after a panel from the false ceiling of an aerobridge fell on him while disembarking at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad, on Hyderabad outskirts, on Sunday (April 5, 2026) afternoon, the airport authorities said. The incident involved Deepak Adoni, who was immediately attended to by airport staff and emergency medical teams on site. Officials said he was promptly shifted by an ambulance to Apollo Hospital for further evaluation, where he underwent a series of tests, including an MRI scan, as a precautionary measure.
