However, the circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, with the police yet to ascertain whether it is a case of suicide or murder. The deceased was identified as Amir, a resident of Tolichowki. His body was discovered at around 2:30 a.m. Police teams reached the spot, shifted the body for postmortem examination and then launched an investigation. According to Rajendranagar Assistant Commissioner of Police T. Srinivas, a preliminary probe and analysis of CCTV footage from the surrounding area revealed that Amir had arrived at the spot alone on his two-wheeler. Officials are examining further evidence to piece together the sequence of events leading up to his death. “Postmortem report is awaited to ascertain the exact cause of his death,” the official said. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
