Rajesh Parents of the 17-year-old girl who was found murdered on Wednesday (March 11) in her village under Kulathur police jurisdiction in Thoothukudi district received her body on Friday, and performed the last rites at their village. After police officials, following intense negotiation, convinced the protesting parents and relatives of the victim that the exact cause of death could be determined only after a post-mortem examination, the victim’s father signed for the procedure on Thursday.
