A district-level committee has been constituted in Mayiladuthurai district to eradicate the orderly system, in compliance with directions issued by the Madras High Court. According to an official release, the committee, headed by District Collector H.S. Srikanth, has been tasked with receiving and examining complaints related to the practice.
