Major recruiters at the event included BEL, Genpact, Cemindia and Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts among several other reputed organisations. The BEL conducted on the spot written exam and 12 ex-servicemen have been shortlisted for the interview. The fair provided a valuable platform for the candidates to showcase their technical, managerial and administrative expertise, while enabling industry to access a disciplined, skilled and experienced talent pool. “The event further reinforced the DGR’s commitment to facilitating meaningful second careers for veterans and strengthening their integration into the civilian workforce,” the Ministry of Defence said. The job fair was inaugurated by Lt Gen J.K. Gera, Comdt ASC Centre & College along with Co Vikrant Kishore, PD DGR. The senior officers interacted with the ex-servicemen and corporate representatives, gaining valuable insights into emerging employment opportunities and industry expectations.
