A total of 2,328 senior citizens aged above 85 and 1,465 persons with disabilities falling under the six Assembly constituencies in Pudukottai district have expressed their willingness to cast their postal votes from their home in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly election. The senior citizens and persons with over 40 % disability have submitted Form 12 D in this regard. The Pudukottai district administration has arranged for postal votes for such persons in every Assembly constituency as per the Election Commission norms.
