The initiative saw the removal of approximately 20.5 metric tonnes of waste from various water bodies. The drive witnessed significant public participation, with 1,271 citizens joining hands with municipal teams and volunteers. Officials said the turnout reflected growing awareness among residents about the importance of preserving urban water bodies.
