Online applications for admissions in KGBVs available from March 12

Samagra Shiksha State Project Director B. Srinivasa Rao has informed that online applications for admissions to Classes 6 and 11, as well as for filling the vacant seats in Classes 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 in the 352 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in the State for the academic year 2026-27, will be available from March 12 (Thursday) to April 1, 2026. 

Mr. Rao, in a press release, said only orphans, children out of school, dropouts and girls from SC, ST, BC, minority and BPL families are eligible to apply. He informed that application forms would be available on the website apkgbv.apcfss.in, and clarified that only the applications forwarded online would be considered for admissions. He stated that the girls who are selected would receive phone messages, and their names will also be displayed on the notice boards of respective schools.
