A.P. Congress president Y.S. Sharmila. Andhra Pradesh Congress president Y.S. Sharmila on Saturday (February 14) described the State Budget-2026–27 as “old wine in a new bottle.” “The Budget of the coalition government is filled with unrealistic projections and inflated figures and an increased burden of debt,” she posted on ‘X’. Ms. Sharmila said that though election promises were extensive, budget allocations were low and inadequate. She accused the government of ignoring the ‘Super Six’ promises and other key election assurances, proving, once again, that it is not a welfare-oriented government, she said.
