Twenty-Point Programme Implementation Committee Chairman Lanka Dinakar on Saturday (February 07, 2026) asked the officials to ensure wide publicity for the welfare schemes implemented by the Union and State governments.

Mr. Dinakar, along with Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas, TDP MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu, Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy and Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan, reviewed the ongoing developmental activities in Vizianagaram district on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the per capita income of individuals would go up with the improvement of economic activity in the State.

He hailed the ‘Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin)’ —VB-G Ram G— scheme as enhancing livelihood opportunities for the villagers with several modifications made to the previous MGNREGA scheme. He said that employment has been guaranteed for 125 days under the new scheme while hoping that more labourers in the district would benefit under the new scheme.

“Vikasit Bharat and Swarna Andhra goals needed to be achieved by the administration with the implementation of all welfare schemes and developmental activities in letter and spirit. The officials need to focus on Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Surya Ghar, National Health Mission and other programmes,” said Mr. Dinakar. He asked the officials to highlight the effective implementation of Talliki Vandanam, Samagra Siksha and other scheme.
