Officials to check election expenditure registers of candidates

The daily election expenditure registers of candidates contesting from Nagapattinam, Kilvelur (SC), and Vedaranyam Assembly constituencies in Nagapattinam district will be inspected by Election Expenditure Observers on April 13, 17, and 21, according to District Election Officer and Collector P. Akash.

The first, second, and third rounds of inspection will be held at the respective Returning Officers’ offices from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the scheduled dates. Candidates or their authorised agents have been instructed to appear in person and submit the required original documents.
