Observers hold discussion in Karur

The general and expenditure observers, appointed by the Election Commission for the four Assembly constituencies in Karur district, arrived here on Thursday.

S. Ramya, General Observer for Aravakurichi constituency, Rajiv Kumar Srivastav for the Karur constituency, Rajiv Prashar for the Krishnarayapuram (Reserved) constituency, and Manoj Kumar for the Kulithalai constituency, held a discussion with District Election Officer-cum-Collector K. Ravikumar and Superintendent of Police D.N. Harikiran.

Rakade Prashant Dnyaneshwar, Expenditure Observer for Aravakurichi constituency, Amit Kumar Pandey for Karur constituency, Harsh Singh for Krishnarayapuram, and Kulithalai constituencies visited various parts of the district. Rathod Kirti Kumar Haribhai will be the Police Observer. Mr. Ravikumar said that all of them have been staying at the TNPL guest house at Pugalur. The people could contact them for airing grievances related to electioneering, polling and others.
