NTPC Simhadri conducted its Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM)–2026 medical programme on Thursday. Medical screening and health check-ups were conducted for Class–V girl students from government schools of Parawada Mandal at Jeevan Rekha Hospital, Deepanjalinagar, and NTPC Simhadri. Over 40 girl students underwent health examinations. The programme will continue over the next few days until the targeted number of students for the GEM–2026 workshop is covered, said the release.
