In a major relief to suburban commuters of the Chengalpattu and Tambaram section, the Southern Railway will be resuming normal train services from Beach station from Friday. The Southern Railway had announced reduction of suburban train services for 45 days from February 27, due to the redevelopment work carried out on platforms 10 and 11 in the Egmore Railway Station.
