C. Sajjanar on Tuesday (March 24, 2026) said that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel or Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders across Hyderabad and that supplies are functioning normally. Telangana Government too has put out a communication on Tuesday stating that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel or Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG). “Refineries are operational, daily distribution continues to all districts. Avoid panic buying,” as per the communication. People were to trust only official information. In case of supply issues, people contact Civil Supplies Department on its helpline number 1967. In a message shared on X, Sajjanar said adequate stocks are in place and distribution is proceeding smoothly throughout the city. He urged citizens not to panic or rush to fuel stations, warning that such behaviour could lead to avoidable congestion and disrupt routine supply chains.
