The NLCIL had posted a net profit of ₹1,281.59 crore as against ₹1,243.76 crore in the previous year. | Photo Credit: FILE PHOTO NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Coal, has posted a 8.74% growth in revenue from operations for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025. The company had posted a revenue of ₹12,447.07 crore as against ₹11,446.97 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. According to a press release, the company had posted a net profit of ₹1,281.59 crore as against ₹1,243.76 crore in the previous year. NLCIL achieved coal production of 113.33 lakh tonnes. The net income totalled to ₹20,639.91 crore, a 11.92% increase over the ₹18,441.43 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. The company recorded gross power generation of 20,543.12 million units. This includes renewable energy power generation of 1,595.95 million units. Also among the high points was the commercial operation declaration of the Unit II (660 MW) of the 1,980 MW of Ghatampur Thermal Power Project (GTPP) and commencement of mining operations at Pachwara South Open Cast Mines. NLCIL also issued the Letter of Award for establishment of 4MW green hydrogen plant in Neyveli.
