Vidya Vikas First Grade College, Mysuru, will be holding a state-level management fest “NIRBHIKAM 2K26” at its campus on Bannur Road in the city on February 19 and 20. The fest features five dynamic events aimed at developing future business leaders. While the Best Manager event tests leadership, decision-making, and crisis management abilities, the management quiz enhances analytical thinking and corporate awareness. The video making event encourages creative expression of management concepts through visual storytelling and the treasure hunt combines logic, teamwork, and problem-solving in an engaging strategic challenge. The cultural event to be held as part of the fest adds vibrancy, fostering confidence, creativity, and team spirit, said a press statement from the organisers. President of Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) K. B. Lingaraju and Joint Director (In-charge), District Industries Centre (DIC), Mysuru, T. Dinesh will grace the inaugural programme, which will be presided over by secretary of Vidya Vikas Educational Trust Kaveesh Gowda. A logo of the fest was launched on February 13 by dean, Department of Commerce and Management Dr. Kiran Kumar Thoti in the presence of in-charge principal Mr. Basheer Ahmed M. As a state-level fest, NIRBHIKAM is expected to attract participation from Commerce and Management students from colleges across various districts and promote inter-collegiate learning, competition, and networking, the statement said. Faculty members Ms. Nayanika P. V. and Ms. Revathi G. will be co-ordinating the fest, the statement added.
