A Nigerian woman was apprehended by the Secunderabad District Task Force (DTF) for allegedly transporting cocaine from Mumbai to Hyderabad, with 7.5 grams of the contraband seized near Paradise junction. Based on prior intelligence inputs, the accused, identified as James Tesling Yamunel, was intercepted near Sunshine Hospital. Police said the DTF team laid a trap after receiving information that the woman would be arriving from Mumbai with narcotics. The team conducted surveillance in the area and apprehended her upon arrival. During the search, 7.5 grams of cocaine, valued at ₹2.35 lakh, was found in her possession. The contraband was packed in five separate packets and was seized. During questioning, the accused reportedly stated that the drug were procured in Mumbai at ₹15,000 per gram and was intended to be sold in Hyderabad at ₹30,000 per gram. The accused has been handed over to the Secunderabad Excise Station for further action.
