New Govt Whips appointed for Assembly and Council

The government has appointed new Government Whips to streamline legislative business and strengthen coordination within the Assembly and Council.

MLAs Vijaya Ramana Rao (Peddapalli), Yennam Srinivas Reddy (Mahbubnagar) and Vemula Veeresham (Nakrekal) have been appointed as Whips in the Legislative Assembly. In the Legislative Council, Addanki Dayakar and Venkat Balmoor have been named as Whips.

These appointments come in continuation of earlier nominations made in December 2023, when the Congress government appointed four MLAs as Whips – Adi Srinivas (Vemulawada), Adluri Laxman Kumar (Dharmapuri), Beerla Ilaiah (Alair) and Ramachandru Nayak (Dornakal).
