Virudhunagar district has got a total of 14,97,417 voters in the final voter list published on Monday after deletion of 1,99,098 voters during the process of Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Among them 7,28,539 are male voters and 7,68,632 female voters. Others are 246, Virudhunagar District Election Officer and District Collector N.O. Sukhaputra said after releasing it here on Monday. After the draft voter list was published on December 19, 2025, a total of 70,030 new voters have been added to it. Besides, 9,134 voters have been removed due to their migration, death and double entries. Hence, the final voter list has 60,896 more voters than that of the draft voter list. The seven Assembly constituencies of Virudhunagar district had a total of 16,26,485 voters as on October 27, 2025 before the SIR process started. It had gone down by 1,89,964 voters when the draft roll was published on December 19, 2025. While Sattur Assembly constituency has the highest number of voters in the district with 2,27,963 voters, Virudhunagar Assembly seat has the least number of voters with 1,98,616 voters. Women voters have outnumbered their male counterparts in all the seven Assembly constituencies. Srivilliputtur: 1,08,109 (M), 1,14,218 (F), 40 (others), 2,22,367 (total). Sattur: 1,10,693 (M), 1,17,207 (F), 63 (others), 2,27,963 (total). Sivakasi: 1,09,420 (M), 1,16,013 (F), 28 (other), 2,25,461 (total). Virudhunagar: 96,436 (M), 1,02,141 (F), 39 (others), 1,98,616 (total). Aruppukottai: 1,00,000 (M), 1,06,468 (F), 29 (others), 2,06,497 (total). Tiruchuli: 1,00,645 (M), 1,03,634 (F), 14 (others), 2,04,293 (total).
