C, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the Madurai Central Assembly constituency will begin his election campaign on April 4. He has been nominated by the Pudiya Neethi Katchi (New Justice Party) to contest from Madurai Central Assembly constituency. Addressing journalists at the Madurai Airport, he said he will begin his campaign on April 4 after filing his nomination papers. He said he has gained a comprehensive understanding of Madurai Central Assembly constituency. He has visited the city several times in the past including for film shootings. He said he understands the city well and has identified the issues plaguing the city. Mr. Sundar said he would work towards bringing solutions to these issues. Responding to a question on Madurai Central Assembly constituency being a stronghold of the DMK and contesting against DMK Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Mr. Sundar said competition was bound to be tough. The main objective is to fight to win, he said, adding that he was confident that we would emerge victorious. He said he would be meeting his party leaders and NDA leaders in the city. With their support and their blessings he would begin his election campaign, he said.
