The Department of Commerce and Management at Amrita School of Arts, Humanities and Commerce hosted a two-day national symposium on integrating technology, artificial intelligence, research, and personal finance. The event brought together academicians, industry experts, and research scholars from across India to discuss emerging trends and the necessity of interdisciplinary approaches.

The symposium opened with a benedictory message from the University Chancellor, Mata Amritanandamayi, who said a nation’s progress lies in the responsible use of research and technology for societal welfare. In his keynote address, Swami Amritaputrananda Puri, chartered accountant and former faculty member at the Amrita School of Business, stressed that aligning technological advancements with ethical and cultural values. He called for incorporating Indian value systems into AI-driven education and financial frameworks to ensure sustainable and inclusive development. The symposium included a series of technical sessions and workshops, featuring a session on the application of artificial intelligence tools in academic research. Participants also attended sessions on financial planning, stock market dynamics, and fundamental analysis.
