A two-day national seminar on GST reforms will be held on April 9 and 10 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Tri Sathajayanthi (CSTS) government Kalasala in Jangareddigudem of Eluru district. The seminar, titled ‘Next-Gen GST Reforms towards Viksit Bharat: Transforming Entrepreneurship, Employment, and Sustainable Livelihoods in Andhra Pradesh’, is jointly organised by the Indian Council of Social Science Research and the Department of Commerce, CSTS. The seminar convener, K. Uttamsagar, said the proposed GST reforms aim to improve ease of doing business and streamline the taxation system. These measures are expected to support industrial growth and generate employment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
