India’s technology small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are currently at a pivotal moment, actively rebuilding growth models, reimagining capabilities and redefining talent strategies for an AI-shaped world, said Srikanth Srinivasan, Vice President and Head, Membership and Outreach at Nasscom on Tuesday.

Nasscom on Tuesday recognised 25 small and medium enterprises for their significant contributions to India’s technology SME ecosystem. These enterprises, winners of the 4th edition of the SME Inspire Awards 2026, were recognised for their excellence, innovation and resilience across India’s fast-evolving technology SME ecosystem.

These enterprises were embedding intelligence at the core of their operations and elevating their identity from service providers to strategic partners that global clients depend on, Mr. Srinivasan said.

“As India’s tech SME ecosystem continues to mature and scale, these leaders will be instrumental in reinforcing India’s position as a global hub for innovation and digital excellence,’’ he added.

The awards, spanning three key categories such as Business Excellence, Technology Excellence and Special Recognition, recognise enterprises that are not only driving business growth but also shaping the future of technology-led transformation across industries, according to the apex body.

In addition, two exclusive awards were introduced for SMEs in the manufacturing and services sectors, recognising their efforts and success in technology implementation initiatives.

According to Nasscom, as India’s technology SME sector navigates a defining inflection point, shaped by AI-driven disruption, macroeconomic recalibration and rapidly evolving global demand, the imperative to reset, rebuild and lead has never been more urgent.

Nasscom received 475 nominations for this award, across 23 categories, underscoring the growing depth, diversity and maturity of India’s tech SME landscape.
