Jagan Mohan Reddy’s allegations that a “Jungle Raj” was prevailing in Andhra Pradesh, stating that such remarks were unfounded and politically motivated. Addressing the media in Guntur, Narendra Kumar said claims of lawlessness did not match ground realities. He argued that if such a situation truly existed, opposition leaders would not be able to move freely or undertake public engagements across the State. Recalling incidents from the previous YSRCP government, he alleged that senior TDP leaders and party offices had faced restrictions and attacks, and questioned why those incidents were not described as breakdown of law and order at that time. On the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) laddu issue, the MLA accused the YSRCP of selectively interpreting investigation reports and spreading confusion. He said the SIT charge sheet and laboratory reports had raised concerns about the quality of ghee used earlier and maintained that procurement procedures and related policy changes during the previous regime needed closer scrutiny. He emphasised that the sanctity of TTD was paramount and should not be politicised. Mr. Narendra Kumar called for a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the alleged adulteration, including examination of the financial trail, to ensure accountability. He said the people of the State had closely observed the governance of the past five years and urged political parties to engage in responsible debate rather than trading allegations, stressing the need to maintain public confidence in institutions and governance.
