In two separate incidents, the Bengaluru City Police intervened to rescue a missing minor and assist persons trapped in a lift, following alerts received through Namma 112. In the first incident, reported on April 1 around 10.15 p.m., the police acted on a tip-off from a citizen that about a 12-year-old specially abled boy was lost on the streets of Sagar Layout in Begur. A Hoysala team, including assistant sub-inspector Srinivas and constable Shabbir, reached the spot within 17 minutes and tried to get his identity.
