Roads and Buildings (R&B) Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy said that Rayalaseema witnessed development and received justice only under Telugu Desam Party (TDP) rule. He said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was striving hard to turn Rayalaseema into ‘Ratanala Seema’ (land of prosperity).

Mr. Janardhan Reddy, on Monday, took part in the swearing-in ceremony of Sugavasi Prasad Babu as Annamayya district TDP president, Pathan Khader Khan as the general secretary and other office-bearers in Madanapalle.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Janardhan Reddy, who is the in-charge minister of the district, said that the credit for providing irrigation and drinking water to Rayalaseema goes to former Chief Minister and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao and Mr. Naidu. Emphasising that the strength of TDP is its cadre, Mr. Janardhan Reddy said it was the responsibility of party activists and cadre to take the welfare and development initiatives of the government to the people.

Though several leaders join and quit the party, it is the cadre who remain with the party,” said the Minister. Mr. Janardhan Reddy said that the people of the State gave the NDA a tremendous mandate, which has increased the responsibility of the government. He urged every cadre and leader to work hard for the party in the upcoming local body elections.
