The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mysuru, through its CSR and DEI Panel, successfully organised the second edition of ‘Inspiring Women to Live Fulfilling Lives’ – 2026 at the Infosys Campus in Mysuru. The symposium organised here recently witnessed participation from over 200 delegates representing the IT sector, academia, healthcare institutions, and diverse industries. Ms. Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar, chairperson, Bherunda Foundation, joined the symposium through a virtual presence and addressed the gathering, encouraging women to pursue holistic growth and a purposeful life. The programme was structured around four core themes — Financial Well-being, Mental Well-being, Physical Well-being, and Emotional Well-being — offering practical insights aligned to both personal and professional excellence, according to a CII press release. Ms. Savitha Mallappa, convenor, CII Mysuru CSR and DEI Panel, said, “This symposium was curated to move beyond dialogue and provide actionable frameworks on well-being and inclusion. When organisations consciously invest in financial awareness, mental resilience, physical health, and emotional strength, they build stronger and more sustainable workplaces.” Mr. Nagaraja Gargeshwari, chairman, CII Mysuru Zone, said, “Inclusive growth and industrial competitiveness go hand in hand. As Mysuru continues to evolve as a knowledge and industry hub, it is essential that organisations create ecosystems where women can participate, progress, and lead with confidence. Such platforms convert intent into structured industry action.” The symposium featured experienced panellists from diverse backgrounds who shared insights and best practices on financial independence, mental health awareness, preventive healthcare, and organisational health frameworks. The discussions emphasised the importance of breaking stigma, enabling open conversations and creating supportive environments that help women lead fulfilling personal and professional lives, the release stated. This second edition also marked the launch of a Women Return-to-Work platform, aimed at connecting women aspiring to re-enter the workforce after a career break with industry partners, and enabling engagement in a phased approach. The symposium concluded with participant reflections and a strong appreciation for the depth of discussions, expert-led sessions, and the spirit of cross-sector collaboration.
