A joint team of the Mumbai Crime Branch and the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the firing incident at the residence of film director Rohit Shetty. The arrest brings the total number of accused held in the case to eight.

The accused, Pradeep Sharma, alias Golu, a resident of Mahavir Nagar in Agra, was apprehended in the Bah area of Agra district on March 21. He was produced before a local court and handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch on transit remand.
