The closures will come into effect after 10 p.m. on Friday and will continue through the night to ensure smooth traffic flow and road safety during the religious observance. However, Greenland’s Flyover, the P.V. Narasimha Rao Expressway and the Langar Houz flyovers will remain open to commuters. The Telugu Talli, Shaikpet, Manmohan Singh and Bahadurpura X road flyovers may be closed depending on traffic conditions and crowd movement, the police said. Commuters were urged to plan their travel in advance, take alternative routes and cooperate with the traffic police. Authorities have also advised motorists to stay updated through the official Hyderabad traffic police social media platforms. For emergency travel assistance, citizens can contact the traffic police helpline at 9010203626. Police said the situation would be monitored closely throughout the night and diversions would be enforced as required in the interest of public safety.
