More than 1,200 women benefit from free health screening in Madurai hospital

Preethi Hospital in Madurai has organised a free screening for women – Mangaiyar welfare mega festival – in the month of March.

Hema Sivakumar, Managing Director of the hospital, addressing the press here on Saturday, said, “With the goal that the healthiest woman in the family can create a healthy generation, the hospital, organised a 12-day free mega screening for women aged 2- to 60 years.”

More than 1,200 women took part in the free health check up and treatment programme, she said.
