Miscreants decamped with jewellery worth ₹13.32 lakh and ₹6 lakh in cash from a temple priest house in the Punjalakatte Police Station limits of Belthangady taluk on Sunday. Complainant D. Murali, 50, a resident of Hosamane in Ballamanja, Machhina village, told the police that he and his family members went to the Brahma Kalasha celebrations of the Ballamanja Anantheshwara Temple on Sunday evening. He had properly locked the doors of the house.
