An under-aged boy, who was riding his bike at high speed, was killed in a road accident at Panagudi on Wednesday night. Police said M. Praveen, 16, a Plus One student from Quarry Colony in Panagudi, who was riding his bike along Panagudi Main Road on Wednesday night, hit an oncoming bike violently in which Praveen and Rajkumar of Thalavaipuram were seriously injured. They were taken to Kanniyakumari District Government Medical College Hospital at Aasaaripallam in Nagercoil. While Praveen died of his injuries, Rajkumar is undergoing treatment. Panagudi police have registered a case.
