The Ministry of Railways has regularised four trains operated between Kakinada city and four destinations including Mysore, Lingampalli and Hisur. In a letter to Kakinada MP Tangella Uday Srinivas on March 25, Minister of Railways Ashwani Vaishnaw has confirmed the regularisation of the four special train services as daily services. The four special train services have been renamed as Lingampalli special express, Hisar Express, Mysore Express and Kakinada port-Rajamhmundry MEMU express. In an official release, Mr. Uday Srinivas said that the regular services are likely to be operational from April.
